How to kick the Sunday Scaries to the curb — the Motherpluckers way.

Ah, Sunday. The day of rest, brunch, bottomless coffee, and... creeping anxiety about the week ahead. You know the feeling. Somewhere between folding laundry and checking your calendar, the Sunday Scaries come knocking — uninvited and totally ruining your chill.

But not this time.

We’re reclaiming Sundays and turning them into a self care ritual. Because stress doesn’t stand a chance when your brows are groomed, your to-do list is cute (and short), and your mindset is main character mode.

Here’s how to kick the Sunday Scaries to the curb — the Motherpluckers way:

1. Romanticize Your Reset

Instead of dreading the week ahead, turn Sunday into a soft launch. Light a candle, play your “Cozy Vibes” playlist, and do the little things that future-you will be so grateful for — like organizing your space, picking out a bomb outfit for Monday, or washing your makeup brushes (yes, finally).

2. Unplug, Then Plug Into You

Scrolling LinkedIn or checking work emails “just for a sec” is a trap. Set boundaries by putting your phone on Do Not Disturb and spending an hour with yourself. Read. Journal. Mask and chill. A lash serum session counts as meditation, right?

3. Get Your Face in Formation

A little glow-up does wonders. Treat yourself to a mini at-home facial, throw on a hydrating mask, or tidy up your brows with your go-to tools. Bonus points if you already booked your next lamination, lash lift, or tint for later in the week — future you will thank you.

Looking good doesn’t solve everything — but it sure helps you fake it ‘til you feel it.

P.S. We’re closed Sundays + Mondays, but your self-care game doesn’t have to be.

4. Move Your Body (Gently)

No need to crush a spin class — a walk by the lake or a stretchy, feel-good yoga flow is enough. Moving your body clears the mental fog and reminds your brain that everything is okay (because it is!).

5. Plan One Thing You’re Excited About

Whether it’s a Wednesday coffee date, Friday’s lash lift, or a new show dropping, give yourself something to look forward to. Life isn’t just deadlines and meetings. It’s also cute lattes and surprise compliments on your brows.

6. Reframe the Scaries

Instead of “ugh, Monday,” try “new week, who dis?” You’re not behind — you’re prepping. You’re not overwhelmed — you’re evolving. Sunday is your launchpad, not a countdown to doom.

Some self care treats <3

The Sunday Scaries don’t stand a chance when you romanticize your life, care for your glow, and remind yourself that you’ve done hard things before — and thrived.

Now go enjoy your tea, fluff your pillows, and remember: You’re not just facing the week. You’re owning it.
