Booking & Confirmations
We accept bookings through our online booking platform or app. We will send you an appointment confirmation link via text; please ensure that you confirm your appointment using this link. Notifications are sent out 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment and must be confirmed. If your appointment is not confirmed, we will contact you via email, phone, and/or text. We reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed appointments to accommodate those waiting for openings. If we must cancel your unconfirmed appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Your appointment is important to us, it is reserved especially for you. We ask that you please provide us with at least 24-hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. An appointment that is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24-hours notice will be considered a missed appointment, and will result in a charge equal to the full amount of the reserved service.
Please make every effort to arrive for your appointment on time. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment if you are over 15 minutes late. Appointments cancelled due to lateness may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Cancellations or rescheduling must be done via email, phone, or text, or via the Motherpluckers app. We do not accept cancellations or rescheduling via voicemail.
Missed Appointments
Missed appointments (no shows) will result in a charge equal to the full amount of the reserved service. Please note that any “no show” charges must be paid before proceeding with future bookings. This cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our schedules filled, so we may better serve everyone.
Babies & Children
Our current space presents many hazards to babies and children. For this reason, we ask that you treat yourself to some alone time for the duration of your appointment. Due to the shared nature of the space, please keep noise levels to a minimum. We thank you for your understanding.
Booking FAQs
Appointments are booked online through the Zenoti booking platform.
Our online schedule is a direct representation of our availability, and cancellations become available to you live. Unfortunately, Vanessa’s schedule books up fast, so we advise clients to book their appointments 3 months ahead. If you’re looking for something sooner, select another Artist from the drop down menu, and the system will take you to their next available day. We suggest booking with our Artists 2–3 weeks ahead.
Yes, we do! Our waitlist is accessed exclusively online through the Zenoti booking platform. It will show our next available day as well as the option to be added onto the waitlist. From there, you can add yourself onto the waitlist for up-to 5 dates with specific times and artists. To get in sooner, select a different artist.
The waitlist will send you an email or text notification when a cancellation comes up within your requested window. These notifications are sent out to everyone on the waitlist any time cancellations happen. The system does not automatically reserve this spot for you, and it is available to everyone online. You must get to the appointment before someone else claims the spot.
Unfortunately, this means that someone else got to the appointment before you. Don’t fret: cancellations happen often, but usually closer to the day of the appointment. You will continue to get notifications until you’ve removed yourself from the waitlist. While the waitlist is useful, we suggest pre-booking your appointments to avoid disappointment.
